CD Checkstrips are designed to provide a visual confirmation that chlorine dioxide gas was present in the area in which the test strip was placed. The check marks on the paper strips will change color from purple to pink when contacted by chlorine dioxide gas, but this does not necessarily indicate sterilization level contact. For sterilization cycle verification and validation, please visit our Biological Indicator Product Page.
A clear color change from purple to pink makes for an easy visual read.
CD Checkstrips, much like biological indicators, can be placed in hard to reach areas to act as a challenge for the sterilization cycle.
CD Checkstrips are non-hazardous and can be disposed of as regular waste.
